Twenty (20) years ago, the OCEG™ Community created GRC and Principled Performance® as a response to the growing problems of misconduct, mistakes, and miscalculations. These things cost organizations over $1 Trillion every year.

A critical part of GRC and Principled Performance is “assurance” and everything it entails.

Assurance helps an organization reliably achieve objectives, address uncertainty, and act with integrity. Assurance is the glue that helps information consumers (stakeholders) have confidence in the statements made by information producers (management and the organization).

But assurance isn’t just about financial statements or internal control over financial reporting. Assurance can be useful in many ways and degrees.

Integrated Audit & Assurance Fundamentals guide is an essential body of knowledge that helps you understand and build skills to provide assurance in diverse areas across an organization and prepare for the IAAP™ exam.
