You may qualify for this scholarship if the World Bank designates your country as either LOW-INCOME or LOWER-MIDDLE-INCOME. Check the status of your country at the World Bank Data Helpdesk.

INTEGRITY is paramount

As a requirement of the Emerging Economies Scholarship funding, we conduct program integrity audits. Without these audits, we risk losing funding for all participants in this program. If you use an emerging economies scholarship coupon, and then access the site from a country that does not qualify, your account will be automatically adjusted to the ordinary, undiscounted rate.

Exclusions

As a nonprofit based in the United States, we are unable to provide certain services to organizations and individuals according to the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Please ensure that you are not excluded by checking the OFAC website.
