Privacy Statement

OCEG seeks to ensure the ethical use of information collected online and to protect the privacy of those who register on or otherwise use our site. We follow the following privacy practices:

No release of personally identifiable information to third parties
We do not rent, sell, give, exchange, or otherwise share personally identifiable information obtained from registrations on our website with other individuals or organizations. The use of OCEG member contact information is addressed by the terms of membership that are supplied to an organization that joins OCEG. We do, from time to time, provide contact information of those who download sponsored materials or participate in sponsored webinars to the sponsors of those products and events. We never provide contact information, or names, of any individuals or entities that participate in any OCEG benchmarking studies to anyone.

Personally identifiable information is collected on our website only on a voluntary basis
Personally identifiable information such your name, company affiliation, address, credit card number, or telephone number is collected only if you “opt in” by choosing to give us this information on a voluntary basis by registering on our website.

We collect "aggregate data” from time to time
We use aggregate data (without individual identification) to help us understand what role in organizations (e.g., lawyer, auditor, etc.) and what types of organizations, use our site, so that we may improve its usability and value. We also use aggregate data from online surveys you choose to fill out for research and publication purposes. Individuals or firms are not identified in any such research or publication.

How we use the information
Personally identifiable information you choose to give us will be used to:

  • Process billing and orders for products/services you choose to purchase on our site
  • Send you information you may request
  • Send you occasional updates about OCEG activities and developments and those of other organizations that relate to ethics and compliance issues

We also collect data that helps us identify the time, date, Internet location, and system information you use during any purchase. This information will assist us in the event of fraud against your credit card.

We will only use the information you give us on the website for the purposes described in this privacy policy.

We do not use cookies to collect information about you. We may use temporary or session cookies to help you navigate our site, or to help us fulfill an order you may place.
