GRC MEASURES AND METRICS: PROVING THE VALUE
Section One – Perspectives on Measures and Metrics

This section should take you 5 minutes to complete if you do not have a measurement program and 10 minutes if you do. You’ll be able to use the report from this section to:

 ·   assess the “As is” state of your organization’s metrics program compared to your peers
·    determine whether the measurement program you have or envision is sustainable
·    identify which segments of GRC more frequently have measurement programs in place
·    understand the leading reasons why measurement programs are or are not in place

 Section Two – The Measurement Program Processes

This section should take you 2 minutes to complete if you do not have a measurement program and 15 minutes if you do. You’ll be able to use the report from this section to:

  ·     understand which tools and sources are most favored for GRC metrics programs compared to other business metrics
·      learn the preferred standards by which to select candidate metrics
·      understand where organizations have or have not been successful in identifying leading indicators
·      identify which metrics are thought to be most effective in demonstrating the value of each of the segments of GRC

 Section Three – Benchmarking Readiness

  This section can be skipped or with an investment of 30 minutes to an hour, you’ll be able to use the report from this section to:

  ·     identify the most frequently used indicators out of a target list of 84 candidate metrics
·      identify additional candidate metrics used by other respondents to the study
·      understand why admittedly useful indicators have not been implemented in current programs  

At the conclusion of this section, as a thank you, you’ll be able to download tools that you can immediately begin to use to:

     Understand the metrics development process in more detail
     Align your GRC measurements and metrics to business outcomes
     Define where you can simplify your portfolio of metrics and measurement,
     Identify gaps in your measurement and metrics program, and
     Begin the qualification process for candidate metrics.
