Here is an overview of how participating in this study can benefit you.

Section One – Organization’s Perspective on Sustainable, Integrated Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)

You’ll be able to use the report from this section to:

• Demonstrate value that your organization already gains from GRC or identify the value to be gained from improvements to GRC
• Frame your business case to meet decision-maker expectations using the most compelling drivers
• Anticipate common barriers to investment and
• Request the tools you need to present leaders with the kind of information they seek

Section Two – Organization’s Perspectives on GRC Maturity

Although it will only take you 15- 20 minutes to answer the questions, you might want to spend more time exploring the nuances and implications of three tools presented in this section:

o OCEG® Corporate Governance Maturity Model™
o RIMS Risk Maturity Model for Enterprise Risk Management
o OCEG® Corporate Compliance Maturity Model™

This Section will help you to:

• Define your “As is” and “To Be” states
• Set your target maturity levels
• Prioritize your strategic and tactical plan initiatives across the areas of governance, risk and compliance
• Validate your plan given peer comparison insights
• Identify target champions

Section Three –Organization's Perspective on GRC Operations

The first 5 questions you can knock out in 5-10 minutes, if you already know or can estimate high-level budget.  It will take you even less time to say you can’t estimate it, but if the information exists, do you really want to show your peers or leadership a My Organization Report that says you didn’t go get the information?  It’s worth a little extra time.  It’s the next questions that may require you to get out of our office and talk with some people.

You will be asked to complete two tables that identify roles, responsibilities, reporting lines, and head-count used to perform key GRC activities.  You may have to ask a colleague to help with the information you need to answer this question.  It’s been too long since you’ve talked with them anyhow, now you’ve got an excuse!  Armed with the tools you downloaded in section 2, you can even offer them something of value.

This section will help you:

• Define where you can simplify by seeing where there is duplication and redundancy across the organization
• Identify gaps by seeing where GRC activities are falling through the cracks
• Identify opportunities to reorganize and standardize

At the conclusion, you’ll have an opportunity to provide comments and thoughts and to indicate an interest in talking with us further.  So, enough with the explanation, let’s get on with it … click Take Survey now.
