Welcome to the New York City community group. This group is a local chapter of OCEG for members based in the New York City area. The purpose of the group is to provide a forum for discussion with local peers and the opportunity for face to face meetings to discuss GRC issues and share ideas.

We welcome participation in this group by any premium or enterprise OCEG member. Enterprise members may post blogs and all members may comment on them. From time to time, the group co-chairs will schedule events for the group. We encourage you to suggest subjects for events, offer to present case studies of how you have addressed relevant issues within your organization, and propose a call for resources and discussion subjects for the group. Since this is a local group, events will take the form of periodic breakfast or brown bag (or hosted) lunch events in New York City. Members may suggest event topics, offer to present case studies of their own GRC practices, or request a discussion on a specific issue. Members are also encouraged to host meetings.

This is your community, so be an active member and help to make it the best it can be!
