I signed up for an account but did not receive the activation email. How do I activate the account?

Sometimes the email is filtered as spam so check that folder in your email client. If you do not see it, open a support ticket (click the support button at the top right-hand side of oceg.org) and OCEG staff will assist you.


How much does it cost to participate in webinar events?

Participation in webinars is always free, however, you must have an AAP to receive CPE credit.


How do I update my contact information?

Login, Hover over your username in the upper right corner of the website, and select “Profile & Password” from the drop-down menu. This will put you the “Profile & Interests” tab. Click on “Edit Full Profile” under the tab title.


How do I change my password?

Login, Hover over your username in the upper right corner of the website, and select “Profile & Password” from the drop-down menu. Then select the tab titled, “Email & Password”.


How do I confirm which level of membership I have with OCEG?

Login, click on your username in the upper right corner. Then click on the “Roles & Subscriptions” tab.


OCEG All Access Pass (AAP) FAQs

What is the difference between the annual All Access Pass with monthly renewal and the non-renewing All Access Pass?

The monthly renewal is charged automatically each month whereas the annual non-renewing pass is not automatic. Also, monthly renewal AAP can be canceled on a monthly basis whereas the non-renewing one is canceled annually.


When does my AAP renew?

You can access that information in your member profile page. Login, and then hover over your user name in the upper right corner of the page. Then, click the “account & billing”.


What is the difference between the individual AAP and bundles of AAP?

Individual AAP’s are owned by the individual and non-transferrable whereas bundles of AAP’s are owned by the organization and transferrable.


How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription in your member profile page. Login, and then hover over your user name in the upper right corner of the page. Then, click the “account & billing”.

Is it okay to use OCEG materials in presentations, blogs, etc. as long as OCEG is sited as the source?

It is import to properly site OCEG and adhere to OCEG’s terms of use, which is available at www.oceg.org/terms-of-service.


What is the OCEG GRC Capability Model (Red Book)?

OCEG worked with a committee of hundreds of esteemed experts, including many in-house GRC professionals, external advisors and auditors, and academics, to develop the OCEG Red Book, which contains the GRC Capability Model – the central piece of the OCEG Framework.


In the COSO Framework, Application Techniques, Internal Environment section, they mention OCEG’s pending Foundation Guidelines for an Integrated Compliance and Ethics Program. Do you know if the guidelines have been published?

The reference is from many years ago and it was the first version of the Red Book. We are now on version 3.0 and it is renamed the GRC Capability Model. You can download the most recent version here: www.oceg.org/resources/red-book-3.


OCEG GRC Professional (GRCP) Certification FAQs

How do I access my GRCP certificate?

After logging into the site, hover over your username in the upper right corner of the page and select “Certification Dashboard.” You will see a button for “print my certificate” If you have passed the exam and are in good standing with certificate.


How do I submit CPE credits to maintain my GRCP?

After logging into the site, hover over your username in the upper right corner of the page and select “Certification Dashboard.” You will see a button for “Submit CPE Credits.”


When does my GRCP renew?

You can access that information in your member profile page. Login, and then hover over your user name in the upper right corner of the page. Then, click the “account & billing”. Your Certificate expires when your All Access Pass expires.


What is required to maintain my GRCP from year to year?

There are two components to maintaining the certification. You must have a current AAP with OCEG and you must complete 8 hours of attendance at any of the following: OCEG live webcasts, OCEG or training partner live seminars (listed under Events on oceg.org), OCEG on demand videos (including Tech Talk series), OCEG archived webcast recordings for events that you did not attend live.


How do I confirm I have met the requirements to maintain my GRCP?

We will track it automatically and randomly audit accounts and will remind you quarterly about making sure you meet the requirements. Also, during the year, we will update your profile so you can view completed hours online.


Which resources are best used to prepare for the GRCP exam?

The OCEG GRC Capability Model (Red Book) and GRC Fundamentals on-demand video series are the two resources used to prepare for the exam. The Red Book is free to download and GRC Fundamentals is available with an AAP.

You can also sign up for GRC Fundamentals live events here: www.oceg.org/events/. Live events are 2 or 3 day workshops which review the OCEG GRC Capability Model in a small-class, in-person setting.


How do I access the GRCP exam?

Are there review questions available on the site to help prepare for the GRCP exam?

Do I have to take the exam only once or is it done annually?

You are required to take the exam only once. However, if your subscription lapses you will be required to take it again to be reinstated.


How long does the GRCP exam take?

Generally the exam takes 2 hours


OCEG GRC Audit (GRCA) Certification FAQ

How do I get GRCA certified?

Once you have the GRCP, you must attend additional education classes either via In-Person Event or by viewing the online GRC Audit Video Series.
