The GRC Summit is proud to offer four topical tracks:

Track 1: Enterprise Risk Management:The ERM track will provide insight into the importance of a comprehensive framework for managing, mitigating and using risk to your advantage.

Track 2: IT GRCThe IT GRC track will look at several aspects of a good IT GRC control framework including metrics and measurements, Compliance (growing importance with social media & enterprise mobility) and IT risk evaluations.

Track 3: Compliance, Regulation and Legal:This track will focus on bringing together the multiple elements of a comprehensive GRC framework. Presentations will discuss the functions of a compliance office and the responses necessary for policy and regulatory issues.

Track 4: Finance and Audit:Focus on the financial processes, mandates and audit functions of an organization. Special attention will be given to managing, planning and prioritizing financial risks as well as the procedures and compliance roles of your audit process.

    The event includes a day of pre-conference workshops including:

    Workshop D: OCEG GRC Capability Model

    The GRC Capability model presented in OCEG’s Red Book introduces a comprehensive framework for defining GRC and the tools needed to delineate a strategy that aligns risk and compliance in accord with business objectives. This workshop will walk attendees through the model and will discuss the benefits of embracing a culture that revolves around the GRC framework. Among topics discussed throughout the workshop Jason Medford of Ventura Foods will pay particular attention to:

    • Increase stakeholder confidence
    • Monitor ethical conduct and corporate reputation risk
    • Improve the efficiency of GRC processes
    • Analyze the role of IT and how technology can impact GRC processes
    • Measure a GRC performance and set metrics in accordance with OCEG and the Capability framework.
