OCEG is pleased to announce the winners of the 2010 OCEG GRC Achievement Awards, presented at Compliance Week’s Fifth Annual Conference, May 24-26, 2010, at The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. The Awards recognize the great strides that many organizations have made in improving and integrating their approaches to governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) to achieve Principled Performance®.

Awards have been presented to these six organizations for demonstrated improvements in several areas including:
- Structure: Establishing a strong GRC organizational structure to ensure adequate oversight and coordination of efforts;
- Information: Improving management, use and transparency of GRC relevant information;
- Effectiveness: Gaining greater confidence in the effectiveness of compliance controls;
- Processes: Coordinating risk assessment processes to develop a clearer enterprise view of risk;
- Performance: Streamlining aspects of GRC capability to reduce cost and improve performance
Visual Presentations of these six projects were on display throughout the Compliance Week 2010 Conference in Washington, D.C., on May 24-26th, where the more than 550 attendees were able to review them and vote for their favorite project to recieve the PEER CHOICE PRIZE.
OCEG is pleased to announce that this year, the PEER CHOICE PRIZE was awarded to VISA for development of a sophisticated ERM program and GRC system that converges GRC activities and embeds them in the organization at every level.
