The 2012 GRC Achievement Awards

OCEG IS NOW ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2012 GRC ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

The Awards recognize the great strides that many companies, government agencies and other organizations have made in improving and integrating their approaches to governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) to achieve Principled Performance.

* Has your company successfully implemented a significant portion of the OCEG Red Book GRC Capability Model?

*  Can you demonstrate how your project took an integrated, rather than siloed approach across your business areas and the processes of governance and management of risk, compliance and more (finance, process improvement, quality, legal or audit)?

 *   Can you demonstrate how your project made it easier for your organization to achieve Principled Performance in specific financial (revenue, cost, profit, share price, growth) and operational (production, quality, customer satisfaction) terms?

If the answer to these questions is "yes", then your organization should be nominated for a GRC Achievement Award, to be presented by OCEG at the 7th Annual Compliance Week conference in Washington, D.C. , June 4 – 6, 2012.

This year, the submission process for nominations is taking a leap into the new technology age. Instead of providing a written submission, we’d like to hear and see how passionate you are about your success. So, we are asking that nominations take the form of a video recording with accompanying slide deck.  We will provide a mechanism for you to make such a submission, but more on that below.

You can tell us anything you like about your project, so long as the presentation addresses the three questions set out above, and clearly describes your project objectives, challenges you faced, and business outcomes.  Be sure to state the parts of the Red Book (or all of it) that you used, and specifically state the benefits you realized, both financial and operational.

SUBMISSION DETAILS:

1.       Prepare a slide deck and narrate it with a video recording of the presenter.

2.       You can use a free service called Looplogic (just set up your channel and follow the easy instructions to record using your computer camera and microphone) or use any other method you like to create the video. If you use Looplogic, you may either set access to Public or to Hidden under Publishing Options. If you select Public, anyone on the web might find your video and view it. That's ok with us, its up to you.

3.       Keep your recording short – between 15 and 20 minutes would be perfect

4.       Provide OCEG with the link (if using Looplogic) or with a wmv file or other access to your video.  Submit your nomination to info@oceg.org with the subject line: GRC Achievement Award Nomination.

5.     SUBMIT YOUR NOMINATION VIDEO ON OR BEFORE APRIL 10TH

AWARD DETAILS:

1.       The award committee will review the submissions and inform all nominees of the results by May 10th.

2.       Awards will be presented during the Compliance Week Conference in Washington, D.C. on  Tuesday, June 5th
