MANDATORY HARASSMENT PREVENTION TRAINING: BEST PRACTICES
This web seminar was conducted two times.  While both sessions were recorded, we believe that the archive of the February 27, 2007 session will be the easiest to follow as a recorded event.  Accordingly, the archive button will be taking you to the archive of the February 27, 2007 version of this event.

Interactive Q&A Session with the Author of California’s Law (Sarah Reyes) Executive & Legal Affairs Secretary for the Fair Employment Housing Commission (Ann Noel)
On November 14, 2006, California’s Fair Employment and Housing Commission (FEHC) adopted final regulations for AB 1825 – the state’s harassment training law. Employers must be in full compliance with the new regulations by February 2007.

The regulations are detailed and extensive. They have created groundbreaking, stringent requirements for all forms of training, especially e-learning. These regulations are expected to heavily influence harassment training standards outside of California. They will also influence broader compliance training mandates, such as the ethics training required for all employers under the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.

As part of the Special Advisory Committee to the FEHC, ELT and Littler Mendelson have been instrumental in helping to draft the AB 1825 regulations. We are pleased to bring you a highly interactive Q&A session with:
• Executive & Legal Affairs Secretary for the FEHC, Ann Noel, who spearheaded the regulatory process.
• AB 1825’s author, Sarah Reyes

Participants Will Learn:
1. The essential requirements of AB 1825
2. The details of the new FEHC regulations
3. How to avoid the most common and costly legal landmines associated with AB 1825 compliance
4. How the AB 1825 regulations are impacting training requirements outside of California

Do you have specific questions about how to comply? What are the best practices for effective risk management? Take part in this opportunity to have your most pressing harassment training questions answered by the creator of AB 1825, the FEHC, as well as leading experts in online and live employment law training solutions.
