organization with a mission to help organizations align their governance, risk management,

and promote integrity, announced today the release of a collaborative
whitepaper entitled:
Leading Corporate Integrity: Defining the Role of the Chief Ethics and
Compliance Officer.
Directly
aligned to the core practices in the OCEG Foundation, the Whitepaper elaborates
on:
- The responsibilities of the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer as strategic personnel.
- How the role of Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer relates to oversight responsibilities of the board and executive management of organizations.
- Individual and organizational requirements for effective compliance and ethics capabilities.
The Whitepaper represents the first cooperative effort
of OCEG, the Business Roundtable Institute of Corporate Ethics (BRICE), the Ethics Resource Center (ERC), the Ethics and
Compliance Officer Association (ECOA), and the Society of
Corporate Compliance & Ethics (SCCE). OCEG looks forward to further collaborative
